Who We Are

Down Syndrome Ethiopia (DSE) is a non-profit organization, established in August 2024, dedicated to fostering a society where individuals with Down syndrome are celebrated, empowered, and fully, included.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to advocate for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of individuals with Down syndrome in Ethiopia. We strive to achieve this by raising awareness, promoting understanding, and driving meaningful societal change.

We envision an inclusive Ethiopian society where every individual with Down syndrome is celebrated, thrives, and contributes fully to their communities.

We are currently in the process of registering as a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ethiopia.
